Reach your left index finger upward and inward to strike 5. Reach your right index finger upward and inward to strike 6. Keys 5 and 6 require the longest compound reaches on the keyboard, combining two rows of vertical travel with inward lateral extension. Retain home row anchors and retract immediately upon key actuation.

3 Common Key Mistakes & Fixes

• 1.Reaching for 6 with the left hand or 5 with the right hand, disrupting standard keyboard hemisphere assignment and causing finger tangling.
• 2.Losing all spatial orientation during the long reach and struggling to find F and J afterwards, leading to subsequent typos.
